Encoding

Started learning how to encode videos to make them great for youtube etc. for a new show that I'm planning to make. Unfortunately it's not going to be in English but I might just make subtitles for youtube version.

Not enough money, not enough time...

I really want to buy BF4 but I want to re-activate my WoW account too. Unfortunately I don't have money or time to do both... I'll just have to wait and see what my friends will be doing. Just go along with them and it's guaranteed to be more fun.

Batman: Arkham Origins

Started playing this game midday and encountered a bug that either crashes the game or makes me so annoyed that I have to repeat the first battle with the killer croc. Don't get the game yet if you haven't since you will encounter lots and lots of bugs according to many sites. I didn't even try to go further. Waiting for a patch now...

How to survive

This game offers little other than a zombie setting and a few survival elements. Crafting is there but its not that extensive and you find all sorts of stuff on the ground like carbon fiber for your bow. It doesn't take itself seriously so that doesn't bother me, but it's a bit generic. Combat isn't very fun but it's fast paced so you really don't notice it. The aiming and locking on targets is a bit buggy and sometimes a headshot becomes a total miss. All in all it's a game that isn't very different from all the things that have been done but it is a good mix of all those things and it is humorous! I'd suggest giving it a try if you liked games like diablo or dead island. My score for this game is 6/10.

Getting a scholarship

Even the smallest amount requires a lot of documents from the government and the school. Tiring work, really. I think I'll sleep a good amount today. After I deliver these documents to the association for mine... Have to go to the other side of the city for that of course, what else could it be :(

WoW account

It hasn't even been a few days since I activated my WoW account and I'm already getting phishing scam e-mails. I'm also getting mails for my GW2 account which are obviously fake. Remember folks, if you get an e-mail saying that your account will be suspended / banned unless you click the link provided, that's most probably a fake. Just log-in from the main site like eu.battle.net or guildwars2.com.

Dota 2

Last night me and a few friends were going to play a few games of Dota 2, so we queued for it and went in the game only to find that almost every single hero was now different. I got a really bad loss with Skeleton King... One of the most overpowered heroes in the game. Not so OP anymore are you SK?!?
Anyway, this just makes my point more obvious: Always check the patch notes!

Hungry and sleepy...

The only time I'm really annoyed is when I have to choose between food and sleep... Right now the choice is obvious as I can't really sleep when I'm too hungry. Other times, too much food might make me unable to go to sleep leading to missed bus stops or sleeping in class... Well, it's just too fun to hang out with friends and that's why I get these moments of indecision... I hope you never have to fight hunger or sleep deprivation. Be safe everyone! :D

Digital Signal Processing

I really don't want to process these digital signals... Well, I'll just have to that's for sure. Anyway I should have looked over some points of interest and didn't. Now, I don't want to go to class because I AM NOT PREPARED!

Trading games :D

Steamtrades is a great site that offers a lot of deals from tons of users. I'm using it to trade my games with other people and I suggest you do too. The only downside is that you might get tricked and lose your games if you trade with people who aren't reputable (they have nothing to lose there).
Always double check what you're getting. Always.

Watching lots of anime.

Watching Galilei Donna, NouKome and Yuushibu. I really recommend NouKome. It has some crazy stuff in it. Galilei Donna is looking good so far and Yuushibu is a fun anime too.

On a side note: I'm downloading Demigod and patch 5 of Rome 2. Going to play them for some time and give my opinions on them.

Downloads and more downloads

With my 2 mbps connection it's taking forever to download these updates... We need all games like doing their file system like WoW, modular and easy to update wherever it needs to be updated.
Oh well, since I've got 5 hours of classes today I'm sure they'll be done before I'm home. Hoping to not give up on this blog on day one, lol.
